I’m interested in the declining electric car prices along with massive increases in capabilities (primarily range). And my data visualisation itch appeared when I saw this RTE article in December 2022. In the original article, the data is unvisualised and presented as text. I couldn’t help but re-present the data in a more digestible format, and I thought it might be useful to share for anyone else considering an electric car purchase in the coming months.
Ultimately, the data points towards the MG range being the best value in the range per euro rating at present in Ireland. Don’t buy a Porsche.
